Bronchoscopy and Thoracoscopy are an integral part of the diagnostic and therapeutic armamentarium of any modern pulmonology unit, and we also have a videobronchoscopy unit, which enables high resolution imaging as well as performance of various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as transbronchial lung biopsies, transbronchial needle aspirations, bronchoplasty, tracheobronchial stenting, ablation of endobronchial tumours and removal of foreign bodies.

The department has a state-of-the-art Pulmonary Function Test laboratory to perform spirometry, lung volume and diffusion studies-in short a comprehensive lung function testing facility.
